At ISBJÖRN of Sweden, you'll find snowsuits for kids that keep your child warm, dry and protected on cold days outdoors – from everyday play at preschool and the schoolyard to sledging and all of winter's adventures. Since sizes in our snowsuit range partly overlap between baby, kids and junior, you'll find the full range here, from our smallest models to those suited to older children.
Our most popular model is Penguin, a waterproof snowsuit that has won "Best in Test" 12 times running. Penguin is made from hard-wearing Nylon Tactel and lined with PrimaLoft for excellent heat insulation at minimal weight, giving a sleek suit without unnecessary bulk. With a 15,000 mm water column, taped seams and a breathability rating of 15,000 g/m²/24hrs, the suit keeps your child dry and comfortably warm regardless of activity level. Growth cuffs at the sleeves and leg ends can be extended by around 3 cm, allowing the suit to be used for several seasons.
For a more sustainable choice, there's Snowlion, which shares the same fit and hard-wearing materials as Penguin but is lined with PrimaLoft® Ocean Bound Plastic – made from recycled ocean plastic waste. Just like Penguin, Snowlion is waterproof and windproof with a 15,000 mm water column and good breathability, but also features reinforced knees and seat for extra durability during intense play. A removable hood with detachable faux fur trim, elasticated cuffs and an adjustable waist provide a snug, comfortable fit that's easy to adapt to weather and activity.
Alongside Penguin and Snowlion, you'll also find our Puffin and Toddler snowsuits in smaller sizes, as well as Halfpipe for older children – all sharing the same focus on waterproofing, heat insulation and high breathability.
All snowsuits from ISBJÖRN of Sweden are made from carefully selected materials and according to the bluesign® standard, which sets high requirements for chemical management and responsible production. The outer treatment is fluorocarbon-free (BIONIC Finish Eco®) for an environmentally conscious choice even in winter.
